For 3 days, the gallery will become a garage sale for the installation - performance ARK TATTOO by ELAPSE.

With this performance it’s as if the gallery itself becomes a Joseph Cornell “poetic theatre” box. Inside a garage sale, members of the public meet the seller and realize that perhaps they are actually inside his brain, and that the objects are perhaps his memories. Or his dreams. Or his inventions. This American whose memory has been holed by anti-depressors turns out to be a sort of art brut artist who makes collages for his objects: as if to collect the fragments of his existence into a bricolage of an identity. The objects and the collages pass from hand to hand, take on a life of their own and weave paths through the excessively dense collection, guiding the visitors into an ephemeral sensorial community.
