Jeudi Arty
Art by Yasmina Reza
Four times a year, from 6pm to 10pm, Les Jeudis Arty offers an original tour of some thirty art galleries in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris. Selected for their innovative and audacious artistic approach, the participating galleries are exceptionally open for the occasion.
For the first appointment, the gallery presents a reading and performance of the play Art by Yasmina Reza, by three actors from the Trétaux bleux company: Dimitri Michelsen, Daniel Lafourcade and Claude Gisbert.
Presentation of the play :
A dermatologist, Serge loves modern and Seneca art, which he finds “extremely modern”. Engineer in aeronautics, Marc has more traditional tastes and doesn’t understand that his friend Marc could buy a completely white painting “that shit two hundred thousand francs”. As for Yvan, a representative in a stationery shop, he would like not to upset either of his two precious friends. But the aesthetic disputes around the “white board” degenerate into a hilarious and ferocious crescendo, which will leave no one unscathed?
