At the prestigious Haus der Kunst in Munich, the jury awarded the first 3 prizes to : Felix Brenner (Switzerland), Andreas Maus (Germany) and KarHang Mui (Netherlands).
The Augustinum Stiftung has awarded the euward every three years since 2000. This is the most important international award for art in the context of mental disability. Its objective is to promote unknown artists and to make their creativity accessible to the public. The jury was composed of Christian Berst, Carine Fol, Monika Jagfeld, Graciela García Muñoz, Thomas Röske, Carla Schulz-Hoffmann and Ulrich Wilmes.
The works of the laureates and preselected artists will be exhibited from April 30 to June 27, 2021 at the Haus der Kunst in Munich and will be published.
