Book signature La Folie de l’art brut

On the occasion of the closing of the exhibition art brut, masterpieces & découvertes, Roxana Azimi will sign her book La folie de l’art brut at the gallery on Saturday, November 29 from 2 to 7 pm.
Art brut, a name theorized by Jean Dubuffet, designates productions far from any artistic conditioning. Formerly reserved for a small circle of initiates, it now has its entrances into the sphere of contemporary art. Through this book, Roxana Azimi attempts to decipher this sudden craze for this art that has become a trend.
Doctor of History (Ecole des hautes études en sciences sociales), Roxana Azimi is a journalist specializing in contemporary art. Co-founder of the Quotidien de l’Art, a specialized journal on the Internet, she contributes to the Le Monde newspaper and the Nouvel Economiste in France as well as to the Monopol magazine in Germany.
