On the occasion of the cultural bubbling of the art world next September, the christian berst gallery and the Sator gallery are associating in an exceptional way, for the time of one day, to propose a collective event open to all, in parallel to their respective vernissages: Rentrée hors-les-normes 2013, at galerie christian berst and Jacquoire en Patrioche, at galerie Sator.
Located at the Passage des Gravilliers, in the heart of the Marais, in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, each of these galleries defends its own contemporary and international committed artistic line, within an emerging district, marked by a rich heritage history, strong social diversity, a great cultural mix and growing dynamism. The merger of these two galleries will create a unique space for artistic exploration where art brut and contemporary art will be in dialogue.
Deeply open and dynamic, the Passage des Gravilliers will host a project room, artistic performances and two concerts in the afternoon and evening. The “Passage pasǀsage 2013” is thus revealed as a symbol of the new encounters and synergies that are characteristic of the current era. Last year, the first edition of “passage pasǀsage” attracted 1500 visitors.
