The Private Wave
Performance by River Lin
Inspired by the work of August Walla, the performance The Private Wave conceives a journey where body and sound encounter in conversation with Walla’s inner universe.
Approaching the conception of Walla, River Lin develops dancing movements as the physical language corresponding to Wall’s own imaginary language. Hidden in fabric, River will be moving and travelling surrounded by works of Walla, and making sound of drawing breath as the mysterious text.
The Private Wave is a ritual performance evoking how the spiritual communion happens between the audience, the material and immaterial.
