Un dimanche à la galerie

The professional committee of art galleries is organizing the event Un dimanche à la galerie , on September 27th from 12 to 6 pm: 100 art galleries, from Belleville to Le Marais, from Saint-Germain to Matignon-Haussmann will exceptionally open their doors on this Sunday.
For the occasion, we will present Khamseen, a performance by Boris Lévy at 5 p.m.
Through a visual and sound device, Boris Levy invests all the dimensions of the space to create a synesthetic symphony. The image, guided by the conductor, sets itself up as an orchestra conductor. The instrumental ensemble, directed by the light, delivers a sound score constructed over the course of the performance to carry an epic, immersive narration. Plastic expression and organic vision infuse each instrument with its own lexicon, which is expressed in conjunction with the images projected in 10 sequences.
The material becomes blood, dust and embers, carried away by the current of alchemical vapours from which the spectre of the wounds of Egypt emerges.
