Born in Argentina, Gustavo Giacosa is a collector, independent curator and director. He created in Genoa in 2005 a multidisciplinary collective of artists, the cultural association ContemporArt, and since then he has been developing research on the relationship between art and madness within different artistic forms by curating several exhibitions including “Banditi dell’Arte” at the Halle Saint-Pierre in Paris, “Corps” at the Collection de l’Art Brut in Lausanne, “Histoires de violence” at the Oliva Museum in Sao Joao da Madeira.
From 2012, he moves to Aix-en-Provence where he creates a platform that brings together the diversity of his productions: SIC.12.
