Léa Bismuth is an art critic, author of texts in multiple forms, and independent curator. Her work consists in exploring the potential zones of action between literature and contemporary art. She has notably initiated the curatorial research program La Traversée des inquiétudes (Béthune, 2016-2019). In 2019, at the end of this experience, she published La Besogne des images (Éd. Filigranes). In 2022, she will defend her doctoral thesis at EHESS, entitled “Écrire : un passage à l’acte” (under the direction of Marielle Macé). She recently participated in the Villa Albertine residency program on the spatial imagination (USA).
