Born in Nancy in 1956, CharlÉlie Couture learned to play the piano at a very early age, but it was at the Beaux-Arts, fine arts school,
that he chose to train, while pursuing what he defines as “Total Art”, a global attitude consisting of finding interconnections between the forms of human expression that are writing, image and music. It is nonetheless as a singer-songwriter that he has achieved international success with the release of his album Poèmes Rock. That same year he founded the group Local à Louer in Nancy, bringing together photographers, painters and poets, and published the Manifeste de l’Art Rock. In 2009 he created his own gallery, The Re Gallery.
