The World after
The last volume of the magazine Orbs, the other planet, dedicates a 16-page portfolio to the Uruguayan creator Alexandro Garcia represented by the gallery. Orbs also published an interview of the gardener who, having experienced a close encounter of the third kind, now lives as an intermediate who absorbs the messages of the cosmos. Alexandro Garcia has been drawing the fantastic cities in the middle of ballets of constellations inspired by his connection with the cosmic afterlife for more than 10 years.
This edition N° 5 of Orbs echos the event entitled Another world (((in our world))), organized by Agnes B, who is currently making a state of the art of the fantastic realism in the XXI century.
Orbs, the other Planet, is a library review dedicated to the transformations of the world of today. Filled with wonderful and scientific imagery, sublime art, fantastic realism, and a change of paradigm and opening of consciousness, Orbs is a reference book, a medium of non-ordinary time and emergent spaces. A work of anthology, precursor and visionary, which is voluntarily timeless, dogmatic and out of standards.
The Uruguayan gardener, Alexandro García, began to transcribe his ethereal visions following an encounter of the third kind - or avistamiento - that he experienced as a child. Worthy heir to magical realism, however, he goes beyond its scope: he speaks to us of an elsewhere offered to our projections and to the colonization of a new humanity through inhabited and saturated architectures. Present notably in the abcd/Bruno Decharme collection (France), his work was shown in the exhibition Elévations in 2015, co-curated by Antoine de Galbert, and tribute to the Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval, a fairy tale palace built by the postman Ferdinand Cheval in 1879.
