For its third participation in the artgenève exhibition - palexpo B23 - takes place until January 28th, the gallery presents over twenty masterpieces by international self-taught artists from the 20th and 21st centuries: John Ricardo Cunningham, Domingo Guccione, Guo Fengyi, Michel Nedjar, Luboš Plný, Martín Ramírez, George Widener, Scottie Wilson, Anna Zemánková and Carlo Zinelli.
These self-taught artists have the distinction of having been recognized by major institutions in contemporary art: the National Museum of Modern Art (Centre Pompidou, Paris), the Venice Biennale, Mona (Tasmania), MoMA, Guggenheim Museum (New York), Palais de Tokyo (Paris)… This selection aims to align with the gallery’s identity: breaking down the barriers of self-taught art by blurring its boundaries with contemporary art, thereby bridging these two territories.
