dess(t)ins visionnaires
15 art brut artists out of the 30 exhibited
Pascal Pique and Catherine Soria Baccelli, the exhibition’s curators, have selected a group of works by 30 contemporary artists, including 15 represented by the gallery: Beverly Baker, Julius Bockelt, Farnood Esbati, Madge Gill, Carlos Augusto Giraldo, Xie Hong, Zdeněk Košek, Raphaël Lonné, Dan Miller, Momoko Nakagawa, Luboš Plný, Yuichi Saito, Harald Stoffers, and Henriette Zéphir.
Polaris Art Center is partnering with the Musée de l’Invisible to present a group exhibition bringing together more than thirty contemporary artists. This exhibition offers a new approach to the art of drawing, emphasizing a more sensory, energetic, and emotional experience.
The project brings together artists from different generations who revisit the concept of visionary drawing. Their work opens new perspectives on artistic practice, particularly by exploring how art can create connections between our inner and outer worlds.
The exhibition’s scenography is organized around the concept of the drawing cabinet, playing on the contrast between white light and black light.
