In 2014, the Treger Saint Silvestre collection moved to the Oliva Creative Factory, in São João da Madeira (near Porto). The first exhibition, called Art brut : Breaking the boundaries and curated by Christian Berst, was mostly intended to provide all public, an educational and historic setting.

Now, the presentation will focus to show how art brut’s works are an attempt to understand the mystery of being alive, that Harald Szeemann described as ” individual mythologies “.

For the new exhibition, Christian Berst will hold a talk (in french) “Art Brut: un art chassé du paradis ?”
